End of the year teacher gifts

Well the end of the school year came and of course all of my craft things are packed up for the move. And yes I am going through crafting withdrawals. I started to stress out on what to give the the wonderful teachers that put up  guided my daughter with her first year of schooling. I saw alot of wonderful ideas in blog land but most of them would make me unpack my craft stuff and spend money. Right now saving money is the key. I have plans to start a Esty shop and already have some things made so I thought why not raid my inventory but I wanted to make it for the teachers and staff at her school. I chose my Satin Cabbage Rose.

I made cards to attach to flowers to. I got the awesome polka dot pattern from  Sprik Space. She has out done herself again with another Pattern Series. I downloaded it into Picnik and added the words.

Simple and easy. And everyone loved them. It was great to see them on other people other than the 4 year old and me.

Now I need to make more for my Shop.

The countdown begins.......

The countdown down now begins....7 days and we are off to our new home. Right now I am living with bare walls and packed boxes tucked in every corner. Now comes the last push, the emptying of all of the closets and drawers. Thankfully I took part in a organizational challenge earlier this year so it will be easy to pack. We will see.


The 4 year old finished pre-school today and they had a little graduation ceremony. Now I know that she is the ham of the class. She sang all of the songs and added her own moves. It was to precious to watch. She sure is growing up fast. She'll be 5 next month and starting kindergarten in August.




Yes she is going to be an actress someday.

BIG BIG news !!!!!!!!!!

You know how I said previously big things were in the works, then I said I felt like I am in a ditch ?? Well now things have finally all fell into place. All of the stars have aligned and with perstitance we can make things happen. My BIG NEWS is............

WE ARE MOVING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Yup thats right. We are getting out of the cold harsh winters of New England.

We are moving in 27 days.

I need to declutter. Time to donate.

I need to decide what is actually going to go

I need to pack and pack and pack

Because I don't think the Hubs wants to drive this

The 4 year old and I are flying down early and vacationing with Grammie

(driving with her for a long period of time just isn't a great idea...lol)

You see I have lived in the same area for 40 plus years.

Yes my entire life same place same area

Best thing is about moving

My MOM will only be an hour away.

So now I need to pack up my new crafting area so Part II will happen later on

My Esty shop is on hold for now and will open once we settle in.

My blogging with be filled with craziness for the next few weeks.

I need to gather ideas for my new home.

I can't wait to have a new place to decorate and of course it needs to be on a budget.

This will be fun !!!!
